F. Whitfield "Whit" Addicks, CPA - Partner

Whit enjoys working with families and companies to provide tax filing services, tax strategy consulting, financial reporting and analysis, and accounting technology automation. He is the managing partner of the firm and guides the strategic process for intentionally planning and building for the next generation while embodying the legacy of the firm.

Whit joined his father’s firm in 2000 after working as a Senior Tax Associate in the Nashville office of Arthur Andersen LLP. Whit graduated from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration (Accounting) and a Master of Accountancy. Whit was an active undergraduate member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of CPAs.

Whit is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Knoxville, and he is also active in community organizations including The Rotary Club of Knoxville, Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church, and Joni & Friends-Knoxville. Whit is married and has two children. He enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and spending time on the lakes and in the mountains of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina.
